Refund and Cancellation Policy

The Small Content Desk provides tailored content services created specifically around each client’s business, goals and materials.

If you need to cancel an order, please contact hello@smallcontentdesk.com as soon as possible.

Before work begins

If you cancel before work has started on your project, please contact us as soon as possible. Where no work has yet been carried out, we will normally provide a full refund.

After work has begun

Once work has started on your tailored project, the amount relating to work already completed is non-refundable.

If you cancel part-way through a project, any refund will depend on how much of the agreed work has already been completed.

For the purposes of this policy, work may include reviewing your questionnaire and supplied materials, research, planning, strategy, writing, design, editing or production of your content or deliverables.

Completed work

Once your package has been completed and delivered, payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or where the service has not been provided as agreed.

A change of mind after delivery does not automatically entitle you to a refund.

Where revisions are included in your package, these will be handled in accordance with the revision terms stated on the relevant product page.

Client delays

Delivery times depend on receiving the information, files and feedback reasonably required to complete your project.

If a project is delayed because requested materials or information have not been provided, this does not normally create a right to a refund.

If we are unable to provide the service

If The Small Content Desk is unable to provide all or part of the service you purchased, we will refund the appropriate amount relating to any work that has not been provided.

Consumer rights

Our services are primarily intended for businesses.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any cancellation, refund or other rights that you may have under applicable consumer law.
